What is Youth Speak Kuching?
Youth Speak Kuching was born with one key question in mind:
“How do we activate the potential of our generation in addressing these issues in an impactful way?”
Our answer was simple, we could harness the collective power of a global youth voice and their opinions, so that we can discover the challenges they faced today in reaching their potential. From there, we take their opinions to decision makers and collaborate on how to transform society to be more effective in developing young people and at the same time, empower our own generation to raise awareness of what we care about an how we can take action.
The Kuching edition aims to gather the collective voice of the youth, and to empower them to create projects that give back to the community of Kuching. This one-day forum aims to host 300 delegates, alongside influential figures in selected fields, so that we can all know how we can truly create sustainable impacts to the Cat City.
